Language Arts focus will be in reading workshops this will consist of: guided reading, making words, classroom group study, and journal response

I am excited for the new math program that we have adopted this school year. We will  be covering skills in measurement, double-digit multiplication, long division, geometry, place value, and much more!

Music will be covered weekly. There will be a musical program on Utah towards the end of the school year.

A newsletter will be posted on this site on  a weekly basis. I will require a response  Tuesday of  each week from  a parent or  guardian letting me  know that they have seen the agenda for the week. Comments will also be appreciated.

Most of the P.E. will be taught by the specialist. However, I will be having occasional activities with my students.

In science this year we will discuss fossils, biomes, animals, rocks, minerals, weather, and the water cycle.

We are studying the history of our great state of Utah this school year.

I will be using the words Their Way spelling program. This will require 4-5 separate lists per week. Students will be grouped according to ability.

This year we will study content vocabulary in math, science, social studies, and language arts
